Delete your AcademyBase account

From the app

1. Open the AcademyBase app and sign in
2. Go to Settings
3. At the bottom, under Danger zone, choose Delete account
4. Confirm in two steps

The account is deleted immediately.

Without access to the app

If you cannot sign in, send a request from the email address linked to your account to admin@academybase.io with the subject "Delete account". We process requests within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your account and ability to sign in
• Your name, email address and phone number
• Device identifiers for push notifications
• Your notifications and slot-booking history

What remains

Records the academy keeps about a player — training attendance, fee status and match reports — remain with the academy after your account is deleted. The link to your account is removed.

This is because those records are the academy's business documentation, and the academy is the controller of that data. AcademyBase processes it on the academy's behalf. To delete a player's data, contact your academy directly.

Academy owners

If you are an academy owner, the account is not deleted automatically — the academy would be left without an owner, with coaches, players and payment records. We log the request and contact you to transfer ownership or close the academy.

Retention

Deleted-account data is removed from the active database immediately. Backups are overwritten within 30 days.
